We're delighted to share the interior design vision behind The Terraces — a considered palette of materials, finishes, and fittings developed in collaboration with award-winning interior designers, Studio AG_D.

A Considered Vision from the Start

From the outset, defining the interior palette of The Terraces residences called for more than a designer with a good eye — it called for someone who understands how people truly live, and how materials perform over time. That person was award-winning interior designers, Studio AG_D, whose considered approach has shaped a scheme that is cohesive, calm, and built to endure. Together we have developed two interior schemes which will be used across the project, creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful, designed to stand the test of time.

Scheme 1: Soft and Tonal

Scheme 1 is grounded in softness. The flooring throughout living areas is Xpert Pro Wellington in Congo Oak — an engineered timber that reads as natural and anchors the open-plan spaces.

Bedrooms are carpeted in Bremworth Levante 100% Wool in Artifact — a warm taupe-brown loop pile from one of New Zealand's most trusted wool carpet makers. It's soft underfoot and acoustic in all the right ways.

In the kitchen, cabinetry is finished in Melteca Supreme Oak Organic — a timber-grain laminate with a genuine warmth to it, paired with a Kleenstone Gold Travertine benchtop that brings movement and material depth to the space. Splashbacks in Kreuz Finger Mosaic – Grey Matte add fine natural texture without visual noise.

Bathrooms are tiled in large-format Dome 600 x 600 – Bone, a pale stone-look porcelain that reads as serene and grounding. Wall paint throughout is Resene Rice Cake and Truffle — an off-white and warm mid-tone pairing that lets the materials breathe. Tapware across kitchens and bathrooms is Elementi in Chrome.

Scheme 2: Warm, Layered and Refined

Scheme 2 moves toward something richer and deeper. The flooring is Xpert Pro Wellington in Riverside Oak — a darker, browner timber that brings sophistication to the living spaces.

Bedroom carpet is Bremworth Levante 100% Wool in Shamal — a lighter, greige-toned loop pile from the same trusted Bremworth range, lending the bedrooms an airy quality.

Kitchen cabinetry steps up in contrast: Melteca Borders Oak is a deep, nearer-black timber grain that brings sophistication and European-inspired elegance. Against it, the Kleenstone Cava benchtop — a cool, veined white stone — strikes the kind of contrast that photographs well and reads even better in person. Splashbacks in Kreuz Finger Mosaic – Dark Grey Matte carry the depth through.

Bathrooms are tiled in Dome 600 x 600 – Nut, a darker stone-look porcelain that pairs naturally with the deeper cabinetry tones. Wall paint is Resene Rice Cake and Double Ash — a soft white offset by a warmer grey, creating a grounded backdrop for the scheme. Tapware is again Elementi in Chrome.

The Details That Matter

Both schemes share a commitment to quality that runs through every specification. Tapware from Elementi. Flooring from Xpert Pro. Wool carpet from Bremworth. These are not value-engineered choices — they are the selections of a team who understand that the things you touch every day are the things that determine how a home feels to live in.

The interior scheme has been developed in close relationship with the architecture of The Terraces, ensuring that the large glazed openings, the generous ceiling heights, and the connection between indoor living and outdoor terraces are supported — never undermined — by the finishes within.
